For organisations holding IPv4

Idle IPv4 is
revenue you are not collecting.

If you hold address space you are not announcing, it is costing you registry fees and returning nothing. List it here and it earns while the registration stays exactly where it is — in your name.

You keep the asset. It just stops sitting idle.

Registration stays yours

No transfer, no change of holder at the RIR, no justification paperwork. You are granting a time-limited right to announce, and it reverts to you automatically when the term ends.

You set the price and the term

Choose the monthly rate, the minimum term and what the space may be used for. Nothing is listed at a price you did not set, and you can withdraw a listing that has not been leased at any time.

You can see the reputation

The risk in leasing is a tenant damaging your block's standing. Every leased block is monitored against 20 blocklists continuously, and you get the alert at the same moment we do.

Six steps from signing up to being paid.

Create a seller account

Register as an IP owner and complete your company profile — legal entity, abuse and NOC contacts, and the RIR your space sits under.

Prove you control the block

Give us your RIR organisation handle so we can verify the block against the registry record. We do not publish a listing until that check passes.

Sign the authorisation agreement

A one-time electronic signature confirming you hold the space and are entitled to lease it. This is what lets us generate tenant LOAs in your name without coming back to you for each one.

Set your price and terms

Monthly rate, minimum term, permitted and prohibited uses. Optionally connect your registry API so ROA and route objects are created automatically when a lease starts.

We check it, then publish it

The block is checked against 20 blocklists before it goes live. A block with existing listings is not rejected, but the standing is shown so tenants price it accordingly.

Get paid monthly

Tenants are billed monthly and payouts follow to your nominated account once payment clears. Earnings and lease status are on your dashboard.

Indicative monthly return by block size.

Based on prevailing 2026 market rates of roughly $0.35–$0.60 per address per month. Per-address rates fall as block size rises — a /24 commands more per address than a /19, because small blocks are scarcer and easier to place. Actual rates also depend on registry, reputation history and term length. You set your own price; these are a starting point, not a quote.

Block sizeAddressesPer address / monthIndicative monthlyIndicative annual
/24256$0.45 – $0.60$115 – $155$1,380 – $1,860
/23512$0.42 – $0.55$215 – $280$2,580 – $3,360
/221,024$0.40 – $0.52$410 – $530$4,920 – $6,360
/212,048$0.38 – $0.48$780 – $985$9,360 – $11,820
/204,096$0.36 – $0.45$1,475 – $1,845$17,700 – $22,140
/198,192$0.35 – $0.42$2,865 – $3,440$34,380 – $41,280

Rates are indicative, not a quote or a guarantee. A block with a history of blocklist entries will let for less than a clean one, and a shorter minimum term generally prices below a longer commitment. APNIC-region space has been running above these figures on tighter supply.

What owners ask first.

Do I lose control of my addresses?

No. The registration stays in your name at your RIR throughout. You are granting a right to announce the space for a fixed term, not transferring it. You can decline any tenant, and the lease ends when the term ends.

How much can I expect to earn?

Market rates in 2026 sit broadly between $0.35 and $0.60 per address per month. Smaller blocks fetch more per address; larger ones carry a volume discount. A clean /24 typically returns $115–$155 a month. You set your own price; we do not set it for you.

What happens if a tenant abuses the space?

Every tenant is verified before they can lease, and every lease carries an acceptable use policy. RepRadar monitors your block continuously and alerts both sides the moment an address is listed. If abuse is confirmed we withdraw the route authorisation and terminate the lease.

Will leasing damage my reputation?

That is the real risk, and it is why monitoring is built in rather than sold separately. You see the same blacklist data we do, for your own block, for as long as it is leased. Blocks are also checked before they are ever published.

What do I need to provide?

Proof that you control the block — your RIR organisation handle and a confirmation we can verify against the registry — plus company details for the authorisation letter. If you connect your registry API, ROA and route object creation becomes automatic.

How and when do I get paid?

Tenants are billed monthly. Payouts are made to your nominated bank account or PayPal on a monthly cycle once the tenant's payment has cleared.

Can I take the space back?

At the end of any term, yes. During a term you are committed for the minimum period the tenant agreed to — that commitment is what makes the space worth leasing. Minimum terms are yours to set when you list.

What sizes are worth listing?

Anything from a /24 up. Smaller than a /24 cannot be announced independently on the public internet, so a /24 is the practical floor.

List a block and see what it returns.

Creating a seller account and listing a block costs nothing. You are only charged a commission when the space is actually leased.
